President of Uzbekistan receives US President’s Deputy National Security Advisor
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov met with Denis McDonough, Deputy National Security Adviser to US President, at the Oqsaroy on May 31.
Greeting the guest, Islam Karimov underscored the steadfast and consistent development of Uzbek-American cooperation on all fronts.
Current state and prospects of bilateral relations got discussed during the meeting. The parties exchanged views on regional security and stability issues along with other topics of shared interest.
Denis McDonough handed over personal message of the United States President Barack Obama to the head of our state and noted that the US highly appreciates Uzbekistan’s engagement in the socio-economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The visitor expressed sincere gratitude to President of Uzbekistan for a warm welcome and stressed the US interest in promoting long-term interaction with our nation.
