On February 18, 2012 the Head of Middle East Section of the Library of Congress, Dr. Christopher Murphy - participant of the International Conference “Upbringing of educated and intellectually advanced generation as the most important condition of sustainable development and modernization of the country” had a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting Dr. Murphy shared his impressions from the visit to Uzbekistan, as well as participating in the Conference and discussed the issues of cooperation between the information-resource centers and relevant research institutions of Uzbekistan and the Library of Congress.
