On 5 December 2005 Tashkent Regional Criminal Court completed hearings and announced of a verdict on criminal cases opened against 13 and 12 defendants who were participated in terrorist acts and other very grave crimes committed in Andijan on 12-13 May 2005.

The trial in Tashkent of 15 individuals in relation to the terrorist attacks committed in Andijan in May 2005 was conducted in accordance with national legislation, which in its turn corresponds to the standards and norms of the international law.

On 28-29 July 2005, UNHCR structures in Kyrgyzstan, in violation of all procedures and norms of international law and decisions of UNO, carried out a so-called humanitarian evacuation from the territory of Kyrgyzstan of some 440 citizens of Uzbekistan, which crossed the border during the tragic events in Andijan on 12-13 May and stayed on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
