Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kuwait University, Professor Abdul-Reda Assiri:

- I want to emphasize a lot of enthusiasm, responsible citizens of Uzbekistan to the important political events in the life of the republic. Despite the adverse weather conditions on the day of the elections, voters took an active part in the voting.

Of special note is paid in your country great attention to the development of science and education. The republic has more than 60 institutions of higher education, as well as open branches of a number of universities and institutions of foreign countries, including Russia, Singapore, Italy and the UK.

Most importantly, the annual costs of the development and reform of education in Uzbekistan make up 10-12% of GDP, while in many countries of the world, this figure does not exceed 2-5%. Moreover, in the country there is free and compulsory secondary education.

Thanks to President Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan has gained international recognition, national identity and became a political, cultural and educational center in the region.

I am sure that your country in the coming years to reach even greater progress, stability and democracy.
