Uzbekistan\'s experience in the field of democratic elections aroused widespread interest in Indonesia
On the eve of presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan correspondent of IA \"Jahon\" in Jakarta met with the Chairman of the Forum of Rectors of Indonesia, Professor Laode Kamaluddin, who shared his views on the role and importance of approaching political event in the life of our country:
In Indonesia, Uzbekistan\'s experience in the field of democratic elections attracts wide interest. Legal framework established in the country, coordinated work of the Central Election Commission, active citizenship position gives us every reason to believe that the March vote will succeed, in a spirit of openness and fairness.
- Currently, for presidency claimed four candidates who represent all major political parties. This testifies to the broad scope of interests of different groups of the population, as well as opportunity, presented to the electorate, to make their choices, focusing on the proposed candidates\' programs.
It is noteworthy that in the preparatory phase focuses on the establishment of broad and equal opportunities for candidates to the President to use the media for campaigning, including by providing them with an equal volume of airtime and print space.
In general, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held against the backdrop of rapid socio-economic development, the democratization processes and consistent strengthening of civil society. During the years of independence the country has done a lot of creative work, the appearance of cities and regions has changed dramatically, created and there are hundreds of new industrial enterprises producing finished products with high added value. Significantly improved transport and communications infrastructure, which allows you to export to the world market high quality products under label \'Made in Uzbekistan\'.
