P.Morvidj: \"The peculiarity of the Uzbek electoral system is a harmonious relationship between the people and the electoral authorities\"
On the eve of important political events in our country - the election of the President, Professor at the State University of New York, director of the \"Global Scientific Publications\" (USA), Parviz Morvidj gave an interview to the news agency \"Jahon\":
- Election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held on March 29 is an important event in the history of the country. It is gratifying to observe the active election campaign of candidates nominated by political parties. All four candidates have already visited regions of Uzbekistan to communicate directly with voters and elaborate on their priorities and positions on key issues.
As noted in the work of many philosophers, the essence and the criterion of \"proper democracy\" is to know the electorate of their candidates and their programs. I watched the elections in many countries, including Uzbekistan. A notable feature of the Uzbek electoral system is a harmonious relationship between the people and the electoral authorities. It is this harmony can confidently say that the upcoming elections will meet international standards of fairness, transparency and best international practice.
I am sure that in addition to the achievements in politics, economy, education, social services, the electoral system in Uzbekistan will be another phenomenon for the world community.
