In accordance with the second part of Article 117 of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, representative and state bodies of regions, districts, cities will be held on the first Sunday of the third decade of December, i.e. on December 27, 2009.

In this regard, within the premises of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, DC, the polling station will be functioning on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 6 am to 8 pm for the citizens of Uzbekistan currently in the United States to cast their vote. The Embassy’s venue is 1746 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20036.
