Uzbek government is expecting at least 7.6% growth of economy this year, president of Uzbekistan said on Thursday.

Islam Karimov told journalists that the growth of gross domestic product could be 7.6% or higher.

In the beginning of the year, the government of Uzbekistan was projecting 6% GDP growth this year and 7% next year.
