Several meetings have been held in Beijing between the representatives of Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbek oil and gas) national holding company and Chinese firms which ended with signing of a package of bilateral documents.

In particular, a Memorandum of mutual understanding between Uzbekneftegaz and CNPC was inked. The document is aimed to deepen cooperation on current projects and creation of joint ventures. It is planned to found a joint venture on capital repair, assembling and production of oil-and-gas equipment, organization of manufacture of trickle irrigation systems.

Also the sides signed a Memorandum of mutual understanding on creation of a joint venture between Uzbekneftegaz and San Vey Sin E LLC on the organization of car tyres production.
