82.9% of Uzbekistan\'s GDP account for private sector
According to official statistics, by the results of 2015, the main share of the gross domestic product of Uzbekistan - 82.9 per cent - was produced in the private sector of the economy. Respectively 17.1% in the structure of GDP accounted for the public sector.
The structure of private property in the period under review was largely comprised of the property of citizens - 34.7%. The share of the property of economic associations amounted to 26.5%, the property of enterprises with participation of foreign capital - 13.3%, the property of farmer and dekhkan farms - 6.2%, other types of private property – 2.2%.
The production of services occupied the major share in the sectoral structure of GDP - 54.5%. The production of goods amounted to 36.7%, with net taxes on products and export-import operations comprising 8.8%.
Uzbekistan\'s GDP volume in January-December of 2015 at current prices amounted to 171 trillion 369 billion soums, having increased compared to January-December 2014 by 8%.
