This publication is intended for the first time investors, providing the basic information on Uzbek society, government, economic performance, locational advantages and most importantly on the legal and regulatory framework governing FDI.

This is the second edition of the Guide updated in the light of the recent changes taken place in the economic, social and legislative spheres of the country.

The Guide is prepared in the framework of “Support to External Economic Policy“ project in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Trade of Uzbekistan, UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD),International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and others.
