The public of Uzbekistan perceives with great concern the escalation of tension in the Gaza Strip, which undermines the peace process of settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the prospects of stabilizing the situation in the Middle East.

The fierce battles in the Gaza Strip have already resulted in numerous human casualties and humanitarian crisis. The resolution of the conflict with the use of force can not have any prospects.

The public of Uzbekistan calls upon the conflicting parties to stop the hostilities and settle the existing differences through negotiations.
