VISUALLY-IMPAIRED TO BE ABLE TO VOTE USING SPECIAL BULLETINS
For the first time in Uzbekistan, visually-impaired people will be able to vote using special bulletins based on Braille code, Central Election Commission said.
Braille code is a form of writing and reading using raised dots and dashes.
The initiative of the commission found approval of the National Visually-Impaired Society and other organizations.
Elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will be held on 26 December.
