TECHNOLOGIES... National Geographic Information System to be created in Uzbekistan
National Geographic Information System will be created in Uzbekistan by 2017. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre Tulkin Abdullayev during the press conference held on August 19 in Tashkent.
According to him, the National Geographic Information System of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NGIS) is formed as a main division of the \"e-government\" and provides the establishment of satellite geodetic network, a unified computerized state cadastre and registration of real estate.
According to the Information Agency \"Jahon\" funding of the project in the amount of $ 25 million will be carried out at the expense of loans of South Korea\'s Eximbank worth $ 15 million. The loan is granted for a period of 40 years, including a ten-year grace period.
The tender for the organization of NGIS won by South Korean ICT Technologies. Works in this direction will be completed in 2017.
