Uzbekistan offered four positions in the Collective Security Treaty Organization Joint Headquarters.
After Uzbekistan regained membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), Uzbek representatives were offered four positions in the CSTO Joint Headquarters (JH).
The offered positions include two posts of the heads of groups of operative planning and joint operative and military preparation and two posts of senior officers in the departments of joint, united and regional systems for preparation of staff and specialists for the JH, CSTO Secretariat said. It is worth mentioning that only Russia had two offers as the heads of groups in the CSTO JH.
The quota level for the positions was earlier agreed with the representatives of the human resource agency of the Uzbek Defense Ministry. The final decision will be reached by the Presidents and heads of Defense Ministries of the CSTO member-states.
All CSTO member-states, except for Russia, have four quota positions in the JH. Russia has 32, since it contributes 50% to the CSTO budget, and other members contribute 10% each.
