President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left for the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana to participate in the informal meeting of heads of states of Central Asia.

During the meeting the sides will consider regional issues, particularly, expanding multilateral cooperation in Central Asia, further implementation of trade-economic communications and joint development of important measures, as well as the issues of mutual interest.

Presidents will also participate in the opening ceremony of ?Peace and Consent? Palace in Astana.
