Round table devoted to the International tolerance day was held in Tashkent on Monday. The day has been marked on 16 November since 1997 in accordance with the decision of the US General Assembly.

According to Narodnoye Slovo, the forum participants discussed issues of interethnic relations and inter-confession tolerance.

Director of the National Human Rights Centre of Uzbekistan Akmal Saidov and head of the Ijtimoiy Fikr public opinion centre participated in the event.
