Airports of Uzbekiston Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) national airline have taken special measures in order not to admit import and prevent spread of bird flu virus in the territory of Uzbekistan, protect the internal market and the health of population.

The company said that imports of live birds, foodstuff and meat of birds via aircrafts to the territory of Uzbekistan from Turkey, Russia, China, Vietnam and Ukraine is prohibited without special orders.

Moreover, when cooking meals on flights of the Uzbek national airline, the cooks do not use meat of birds and chicken eggs. All airplanes, irrespective from which country the fight is carried out, pass disinfection process at Uzbekistan airports.

Crew members of aircrafts of Uzbekistan Airways undergo training with specialists of healthcare institutions.
