Salaries of Uzbek teachers increases
New tariff scale for payment of labor and position rates of public education workers was introduced on 1 January.
Representative of press centre of Public Education Ministry Sherzod Ahmadov said that the salaries of teachers increased by 30% in the country to implement decrees and resolutions of the Uzbek president.
Currently, some 451,567 teachers, including 303,516 women, work in the Uzbek schools. The government rose salaries for 41% of them. The press service said that salaries of heads of educational establishments also increased 1.4 times.
