Uzbekistan elected as member of IEB committee
Uzbekistan was elected to the rules committee of the International Exhibitions Bureau (IEB) among 12 countries, ?Jahon? of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday, 7 December.
The committee is the second important body of the IEB and develops regulations and orders of organization of exhibitions within the bureau. Uzbekistan was elected to the committee at the 138th General Assembly of the IEB.
Vincente Gonzalez Loscertales,, Secretary-General of IEB, expressed gratitude to the Uzbek delegation for active work in the bureau.
IEB was established by a diplomatic international Convention, signed in Paris, in 1928. Its function is to regulate the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.
