Meeting of the Committee of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on information and communication technologies was held on 6 December. Deputies of Legislative Chamber, member of working group, experts and specialists, representatives of corresponding organizations, and mass media participated in the meeting.

The meeting, led by Committee chairman H.Dustmuhamedov, considered the bill On the basis of economic relation in mass media. The deputies adopted the bill in the first reading.

It was emphasized that the main purpose of the meeting is improvement of relation in creation, implementation of the activities of mass media, ensuring them with economic Independence.

Participants also considered the basis of economic relations in mass media, participation of the state in strengthening economic basis, as well as principles of state support.
