Seminar held within ?First aid and social health? program
In the first half of 2005, 93 children at the age of 1-7 suffered as a result of traffic accidents, six of them with lethal outcome, 156 children were at the age of 8-15, four of them died.
Road safety of children is a problem of modern large city. Statistics of children?s traumatism as a result of traffic accidents and cases with lethal outcome is oppressive.
These facts were enunciated by chief agitation and propaganda division of Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department at seminar on Road safety of children for representatives of pilot kindergartens of Sabir Rakhimov and Mirzo Ulugbek districts. The seminar was organized within ?First aid and social health? program.
Participants of the seminar considered issues of methodology of teaching school-age children, discussed measures on introduction of educational work on road safety among children.
The following events will be held within ?First aid and social health? program:
- photo contest for the best corner of Red Crescent Society in Uzbekistan at kindergartens;
- contest of pictures on road safety;
- competitions of kindergartens in districts (5-6 September);
- city final competition of best kindergartens (10 September).
Winners of the contests will be awarded with gifts and prizes.
