CIVIL ADVOCACY SUPPORT PROGRAM OPENED IN TASHKENT
Presentation of the second phase of the Civil Advocacy Support Program (CASP) funded by USAID opened in Tashkent on Wednesday.
Implementation of the second phase of CASP started on 1 October. The initiative is aimed at assistance to citizens and NGOs in stating their opinions at state level.
The conference gathered representatives of the government, NGOs, as well as leaders of associations to analyze how civil advocacy can serve common interests.
The conference agenda includes discussion of issues of unemployment, potable water supply to distant regions, economic, ecological and other problems identified during the meetings with citizens of Uzbekistan and CASP program partners.
