The Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of Republic of Uzbekistan held round-table discussion titled ?The present situation in Central Asia and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.?

The members of the Shanghai Institute of International Studies (SIIS) delegation led by the deputy director of SIIS Van Syaoshu, participated at the discussion.

During talks, participants noted that elimination of such threats like international terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, etc., required the further activation of united acts of the countries, in particular, the members of SCO.

Later SIIS delegation met with professors and students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
