Construction of collages and lyceums runs throughout Uzbekistan
Large-scale work on construction of collages and lyceums, their equipment with the up-to-date technology is being implemented in the frames of the National Program for Preparation of Specialists in all regions of Uzbekistan.
Several years ago, Japanese Bank for International Cooperation issued a beneficial yen-based credit in the amount of US$59 million for the implementation of the Project \\\"Development of secondary specialized, professional education\\\".
Construction and repairing of 50 professional collages has been completed in the framework of this project coming to this point. Also, modern equipment has been procured, and training courses have been organized for the local teachers.
The Manager of the Project of the Sumitomo Corporation Takashi Yamamoto said \\\"successful implementation of this project was made possible with the all-round support of the Uzbek government and all concerned local organizations.
The collages we have built will soon produce qualified specialists of various spheres of national economy. I would like to note that Uzbekistan is one of those rare countries, which invests large funds in the education of its young population, the future of the country\\\".
