A round table session on the issues of elucidation of the enterprise activity in the media was held at the Centre for Development of Market Related Skills.

Representatives of the leading media outlets of Uzbekistan, including those focused on the theme of business, and concerned departments participated in the event organized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Uzbekistan.

Participants of the meeting exchanged opinions about the problems associated with elucidation of various aspects of entrepreneurship, access of business information, and the role of media in development of given sphere. They also discussed the issues of issuance of licenses to the media, perspectives for development of economic journalism, as well as ineffectiveness of the publications.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Nabijon Kasymov said the Chamber currently worked on arranging the executive commission for the issues of media under the Business-Forum of the Chamber. He also presented the project of a contest for the best elucidation of the enterprise activity by the media.

Participants agreed to direct the proposals to the representatives of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for further consideration by concerned departments.
