Uzbek president receives delegation of Russian fund
Uzbek President Islam Karimov received a delegation of Politka (Politics) Fund of Russian led by its president Vyacheslav Nikonov at presidential residence Oqsaroy on 10 June.
The delegation includes director of Russian Institute on Political researches, editor-in-chief of Politichiskiy Class magazine Vitaliy Tretyakov, deputy editor-in-chief of Trud Rafael Guseynov and advisor of Moscow mayor Nurali Latypov.
Welcoming the guests, Presiden Karimov said that he is sure for unprejudiced and objective assessment of issues, which are important for Uzbekistan. He said that the position of delegation is important for Uzbekistan against which information war was opened.
Vyacheslav Nikonov, in his turn, said that firm and sequential policy of leadership of Uzbekistan will ensure future of the country.
It was noted that criminal groups are interested in Central Asian region and they are trying to destabilize situation.
