Tashkent is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the founder of the Uzbek circus Karim Zaripov
In the Exhibition Hall of the Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been launched an exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Karim Zaripov, founder of the Uzbek circus arts and the famous Zaripov dynasty.
The event was organized jointly with the Republican circus college.
The exhibit presents a variety of materials - photos and film archives, books, stage costumes, props, and more.
In the event in a variety of genres performed the students of the National College of Variety and Circus -“Young artists pleased the audience with their interesting program, demonstrating the different areas of circus arts such as acrobatics, juggling, clowning and more.
Students will be performing throughout the exhibition”- said senior researcher at Exhibition Hall of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nosima Djuraeva.
We add that on September 28, 2013 will be held Memorial evening dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Karim Zaripov. At his concert will perform invited guests from the CIS countries, representatives of the embassies accredited in Uzbekistan, artists, and fans and lovers of circus arts.
