On August 28, 2013 the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a Resolution \"On the adjustments to the Program of localization of manufacture of integrated products, components and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2013\".

This document was adopted in order to further stimulate the manufacture of export-oriented and import-substituting products, enhance intra-and inter-industrial cooperation, including between small businesses and large enterprises.

According to the Resolution, the Program includes 15 new projects of eleven companies. In addition, in the Resolution excludes 2 companies from the localization program.

The Resolution establishes that the organizations included in the localization program shall enjoy benefits provided in Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 27 January 2009 ą of PP-1048, including:

- on customs duties - from the date of adoption of this resolution; - tax - from 1 September 2013.

In the paragraph 3 of the Decree of the President of ą PP-1048 are exempt from:

- Customs duties (excluding charges for customs clearance) - imported technological equipment and spare parts to it, as well as components that are not produced in the country, used in the manufacturing process for the production of localized products;

- Income tax, single tax payment (for entities applying the simplified system of taxation) - products manufactured by localization projects; - Property tax - basic production assets used to manufacture of localized products.
