Uzbek state budget surplus makes up 68.7bn soums
Surplus of the state budget of Uzbekistan made up 68.7 billion soums (Currency rates of CB from 21.08.2013 1$=2119.73 soums), in January-June 2013, according to data of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.
In line with the date of the ministry, income of the state budget made up about 12.242 trillion soums in the first half of 2013, of which 3.124 trillion soums were direct taxes, 6.132 trillion soums – indirect taxes, 1.814 trillion soums – resource payments and property taxes, and 1.171 trillion soums – other income.
The expenses of the state budget made up 12.173 trillion soums. The expenses for social sector and social support of population exceeded 7.412 trillion soums. At the same time, the government directed 1.75 trillion soums to healthcare and 4.381 trillion soums to education.
The government allocated 1.173 trillion soums to economy, 2.7 billion soums to support NGOs, 615.2 billion soums to finance centralized investments. Some 513 billion soums were spent to state bodies, courts and self-governing bodies. Other expenses exceeded 2.456 trillion soums.
