Tashkent is to host on October 8-10 the 19th Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF 2013 “Tourism on the Silk Road.”

The event included in the calendar of international tourist exhibitions of UNWTO, is traditionally held in the exhibition halls of the UzExpocenter with a total exhibition area of over 10 thousand square meters. According to the organizers, it will help to promote the national cultural heritage of Uzbekistan abroad, further development of domestic tourism in the country and attract more foreign tourists.

For many years TITF has become popular not only with the country, but also foreign representatives of the international tourist community.

International experts and representatives of foreign companies emphasize that today, after 19 years, the fair from a simple exposition site turned into a complete platform for the promotion of tourist products and establishment of business contacts. It allows the world leading experts to share experiences, discuss current challenges of tourism, and assess new opportunities. It is also advertised here the price policy, discussed topical issues of tourism, and new directions opened.

This year the fair will represent a traditional national pavilion “Travel in Uzbekistan.”

There will be a demonstration of brands of the regions of the country that have distinctive colors, unique features and singular characteristics.

At the national pavilion visitors will also get acquainted with the economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan. The image of the pavilion will be supplemented with new bright traits, as here will work the expositions “Eastern Bazaar and “City of Artisans.” Furthermore, the section of gastronomic tourism will be presented with meals of the national cuisine on display.
