Preparations for the ninth international music festival \"Sharq taronalari\" is actively continuing in Samarkand.

In preparation for the festival the necessary measures for the accommodation of visitors, providing with transportation services, guides and translators are underway.

- Currently there are over eighty hotels in Samarkand. We plan to accommodate festival guest in the hotels that will be convenient for them from all points of view, - says the head of the Samarkand regional department of Uzbekturizm national company Ilhom Suvonov. - In particular, all the necessary conditions and opportunities for the provision of high quality services in line with modern standards is created at the Afrosiyob Palace hotel, where the main part of the forum will take place. On the eve of the festival, this hotel has been renovated and equipped with new furniture. Registan Plaza, Registan, Ark Samarkand, Regal Palace, Diyora, Ideal, Nadir Samarkand hotels are ready to receive participants and guests of the festival, the jury members and the media representatives. A number of hotels to accommodate guests are on the reserve list.

Students of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages have been trained to act as a guides and interpreters during the festival.

Modern buses and cars, which are equipped with the necessary facilities, have also been provided for the comfort and needs of the festival participants.
