The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan, according to preliminary data, made up 50.432 trillion soums (Currency rates of CB from 16.08.2013 1$=2115.36soums) in current prices in the first half of 2013, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said. The committee said that the growth rate of GDP made up 8% compared to the same period of 2012.

About 82.5% of total GDP fell to share of the non-governmental sector of economy and 17.5% - to the state sector.

Share of goods production in structure of the GDP made 35.9% in January-June 2013 (35.4% in January-June 2012) and service production – 52.4% (52.2%).

Net taxes on products and export-import operations made up 11.7% in the GDP structure in January-June 2013 (12.4%).
