In the I half of 2013 the volume of bank loans issued to small businesses in Uzbekistan grew by 1.3 times
On July 1, 2013 total amount of loans issued to small businesses and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan amounted more than 3.7 trillion soums, which is 1.3 times more than the same period last year.

The majority of credit funds were used to finance priorities and projects included in the state program of economic development of the country, including in the program \"Year of the well-being and prosperity\".
Thus, in the first half of this year, food manufacturers have been allocated loans amounting 690 billion soums, manufacturers of industrial consumer goods - 740 billion soums, development of services - 391.6 billion soums to support women/\'s entrepreneurship – 322.5 billion soums to expand family business and crafts - 61.3 billion soums, the graduates of educational institutions - 55 billion soums, private plots and small farmers, as well as for the purchase of cattle - about 77.5 billion soums.
Note that for the implementation of the set of forecast banks introduce intensively into the practice new technologies and services. If the simplified microcredit helps to reveal business potential of citizens, credits allocated to small businesses for the purchase of technology, modernization, expansion of production, contribute to employment and increase revenues.
In banking practice is also common pre-export financing and import operations of small businesses. Transparent and trusting relationship between banks and small businesses are becoming a stimulating factor for the expansion of foreign trade and the promotion of domestic products to foreign markets.
