On July 11, 2013, with a view to further constant increase of wages and level of public life, strengthening of social support of republic’s citizens, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed the Resolution on increase from August 15, 2013 of the wage for workers of budget organizations and agencies, pensions, scholarships and benefits on average by 1.15 times.



According to the Resolution, from August 15, of 2013 on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan minimum wage will amount 91 530 soums (Currency rates of CB from 15.07.2013 1$=2098.56 soums), a month, benefits for old and disabled people, without required working experience - 109 850 soums a month.

To self-supporting enterprises and organizations has been ordered to hold from August 15, 2013, the increase of wages in accordance with minimum wage established by this Decree, at the expense of growing production efficiency and reduce labor costs. (Source: Uzdaily.com)
