In recent years, Uzbekistan increased production of vegetables and grapes. Along with farmers in the development of the industry actively participate industrial enterprises of the republic.



Holding company “Uzvinprom-holding” is implementing a work focusing on developing its own raw material base, the efficient use of land and water resources, food security.

If in 2011, balance of the company was 2.9 million hectares, in 2013, its own industrial vineyards 4.4 hectares.

Note that by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated from March13, 2013 \"On measures for further development of viticulture in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the period 2013-2015\" provides the expansion of vineyard acreage of 22.5 million acres. As part of the implementation of this resolution to this period the company scheduled lying of new vineyards in the area of 3.3 hectares. As a result, the own plantation will be increased to 7.3 million hectares, that will allow recycling of valuable raw wine grapes.

If in 2012 from own plantation was harvested 19.2 million tons of grapes, in the current year is expected to perform 30.1 thousand tons, and in 2014-2015, respectively 43.0-63.5 tons, which will allow to improve the product range and increase the export potential of the industry.

In addition, for development of commercial viticulture and improve the varietal composition, as claimed in the domestic and foreign markets jointly with corporation \"Meva-sharbat\" and the Research Institute \"Rasteniyevodstvo\" is being set up plantations of uterine of 14 new, perspective, the most valuable wine grapes.

Note that in the \"Uzvinsanoat-holding\" since 2007 operates farm \"Nastarin-jasmine\", located on the territory of Kibray district of Tashkent region.

In addition, for the development of wine-growing in the country, farm \"Nastarin-jasmine\" together with \"Uzvinsanoat-holding\" created \"Center for Viticulture development\".
