The national airline of Uzbekistan continues to modernize its fleet. The last days have brought another good news - a new, fourth Boeing-767 has landed in Tashkent to fill up the fleet.

The aircraft were acquired under the scheme, where Boeing has delivered them to Uzbekistan Airways, which referred the beneficial ownership of the aircraft in favor of the IDB. In turn, the Islamic Bank gave the aircraft to the National Bank of Uzbekistan in the lease, and it further gave them to the national airline for subleasing.

To note, the third and fourth aircraft Boeing 767-300ER, purchased for NAC in 2013, were exempted from customs duties and the NBU of Uzbekistan, NAC Uzbekistan Airways and the IDB - from the payment of all taxes related to the conclusion of agreements for the sale, leasing and subleasing of aircraft.
