On July 12, is 135th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, writer, playwrighter, teacher, journalist and national leader - Abdullah Avloniy.



Abdullah Avloniy is one of the founders of Uzbek culture and literature. He raised to a new level national pedagogy, drama, national theater, journalism, children\\\'s literature.

Avloniy was born on July 12, 1878 in mahalla Mergancha of Tashkent city, in a family of weavers. Father - Miravlan aka was a poor man, so Avloniy began to work and earn for a living from early childhood. He was nicknamed \\\"Imaratgi master.\\\" He wrote about this in his biography: \\\"At 12, I went to a madrassa in Mahalla Ukchi, in 13 years old I worked part time, helped the family, and studied in winter.\\\"

Since the age of 15 poems of Abdullah Avloniy began to appear in the press. In 1904 Avloniy became one of Jadid leaders and opened jadidism school, in 1907 he opened the newspaper \\\"Shukhrat\\\", and in 1909 he created the organization \\\"Jamiyati Khairatiya.\\\"

After studying, he also was involved in pedagogy, founded a new school system and offered teaching languages of the East and the West.

Avloniy was the first who offered teaching geography, chemistry, astronomy and physics in schools of Turkestan, introduced into the education system break between classes, introduced exams during the transition of students from one class to another, thus, raised education in Turkistan to the next level.

In 1895 Avloniy worked under the pseudonyms \\\"Qobil\\\", \\\"Shukhrat\\\" \\\"Hizhron\\\", \\\"Avloniy\\\", \\\"Surayo\\\", \\\"Abulfayz\\\", \\\"Indamas\\\" created essays, satires and dramatic work. He called his nation to education and awaring.

In addition, together with Behbudi, Avloniy founded the troupe \\\"Turon\\\" and set the play \\\"Padarkush\\\". In 1917, after revolution, published the newspaper \\\"Turon\\\" under motto \\\"Yashasin hulk zhumhuriyati».

Being a poet Avloniy wrote many poems. Some of the most famous - \\\"Uz mamlakatimizda\\\", \\\"Maktab\\\" called people for education. His book \\\"Adabiyot\\\" is particularly well known.

The poet taught at the University Of Central Asia and wrote books.
