Uzbek government has approved the programme of accelerated development of the transport, industrial and engineering infrastructure of SIZ \"Jizzakh\" for 2013-2015.



According to the programme, in Jizzakh is being planned the implementation of 17 projects on total amount of $48.3 million in 2013-2018.

In particular, five projects for construction and reconstruction of roads sections in the amount of $20.3 million, 3 projects for the development of railway infrastructure in the amount of $2.3 million and 5 projects for the development of water supply, irrigation and drainage in the amount of $24,8 million.

In addition, it is being planned to implement two projects on building and reconstruction of the electric networks in amount of $406.7 thousand and 2 projects for development of gas supply by $507.1 thousand.

The projects will be funded from the state budget in the amount of $21.4 million, the companies\' own funds in the amount of $3 million, and international financial institutions in the amount of $4.6 million.

In addition, by the resolution of Cabinet of Ministers \"On measures on accelerated development of the transport, industrial and engineering infrastructure of SIZ \"Jizzakh\" for 2013-2015, SUP \"UzshaharsozlikLITI\" determined as general design company to develop a master plan for SIZ \"Jizzakh,\" including the development of its production infrastructure.
