More than 30 thousand tons of grapes is being planned to start procuring in current year in Uzbekistan
For last years in Uzbekistan is being increased production volume of horticulture production and grapes. In the development of this sphere along with farmer economic entities are also actively taking part industrial enterprises of the republic. This was said at the press-conference, held in the capital.
By the holding company “Uzvinpromholding” is being held a straightforward work on creation of the own raw basis, effective use of land-water resources, providing industrial safety.
Thus, if in 2011 in the company balance there were private industrial vineyards on the lands of 2.9 thousand hectares, therefore in 2013, in the square of 4.4 thousand hectares.
By the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from March 13, 2013, “On measures of further development of vineyards in the Republic of Uzbekistan for period 2013-2015 years” is provided expanding vineyards for 22.5 thousand hectares. In the framework of the implementation of this resolution, by the company has been a planned setting new vineyard on the lands of 3.3 thousand hectares. As a result of its own raw materials basis as a whole, it will be increased to 7,300 hectares, which will direct the industrial processing on high-value kind of grapes. If in 2012 from its own plantations were harvested 19,200 tons of grapes, in the current year it is being expected to harvesting more than 30 thousand tons of grapes, and in 2014-2015, respectively, from 43 to 63 500 tons of grapes, which will expand the range of production and increase the export potential of the industry.
In 2013 - 2015 years is provided the implementation of more than 80 investment projects. By this time full modernization of industry will be completed. In addition, from 2015 - 2016 years provided additional viticulture areas under plantation will provide a sustainable, stable raw-material base, expand the range of products, which will increase the competitiveness of the industry - said the head of the foreign trade, investment and modernization HC \"Uzvinprom-holding\", Vostrikova Adolat.
In addition that by the company is being also held work on strengthening the material-technical basis of agriculture sector, improving agro-technical park and create effective conditions for growing grapes.
For recent years, 630 hectares of vineyards were established tapestry, commissioned 21 deep wells, bought 73 different types of specialized equipment and in an area of 320 acres was introduced a drip irrigation system.
In order to develop and improve viticulture industry and improvement of variety composition, as claimed in the domestic and foreign markets jointly with the corporation, \"Meva-sharbat\" and the Research Institute of Plant is being established work on creation of the new uterine plantations promising, high-value technical grades of the vineyard.
In addition, the company established a mutually beneficial partnership with viticulture farms. Annually practical trainings and seminars to motivate joint activity are being implemented activities on stimulation of the advanced farming.
