In the fourth quarter of 2013, running a modern production of copper pipes is scheduled in the Angren SIZ.

The Uzbek Government has approved the basic technical and economic parameters of the project feasibility study on the organization of the production of copper pipes of different diameters in the Angren SIZ. Experts estimate that the project will create conditions for a more in-depth processing of copper raw materials and the organization of production of finished and competitive in the domestic and external markets with high added value, which enjoys strong demand in high-tech industries.

The total project cost will exceed US$35.4m, of which more than US$10.28m will be the Olmaliq Mining and Metallurgical Plant’s resources and JSIB IPOTEKA Bank loans for US$12.27m and US$12.93m.

Under the project the Chinese company Jiangsu Xingrong High Tech Co. Ltd will supply and assembly of technological equipment, supervision and execution of commissioning a total value of US$9.67m. The company SAM Building Contracting LLC of the United Arab Emirates to supply metal wall panels and industrial buildings, equipment for him, installation and commissioning work on the implementation of the \"turn-key\" total cost of US$5.57m and the capital FE Toshelektroapparat manufacture and supply electrical equipment with design, construction, installation and commissioning work on the \"turn-key\" total cost of US$3.79m.
