On January-March 2013, by the Association of leather and shoes enterprises “Uzbekcharmpoyabzal” have been produced the industrial goods on 49.3 billion soums soums (Currency rates of CB from 11.06.2013 1$=2084.95 soums) that is more to 13.3% comparing to the same period of 2012.

At the same time sphere enterprises increased customer goods to 11.2 to 15.5 billion soums, informs the Association “Uzbekcharpoyabzal”.

Production growth of ready leather goods in the analyzed period composed 15.2%, shoes - 14.5%, leather and haberdashery products - 5.2%.

In the first quarter of the current year has been introduced the production of 35 new models of shoes and 22 new types of leather-haberdashery goods.

In the framework of the programme of the localization, by the Association enterprises “Uzbekcharmpoyabzal” have been produced goods on 10.3 billion soums that is to 27.2 more comparing to the analogy period of 2012.

Has been sent exported leather shoes on $21.4 million. More over, enterprises attracted investments to $1.95 million that allowed launching 12 new shoe enterprises and creating 170 new jobs. In particular, the enterprise, “Grand Kibo” started its work in Ferghana region.

The enterprise capacity composes 400 thousand children shoes a year, volume of attracted investments - $400 thousand.

In Namangan region is put into operation the enterprise “Yoshlik poyabzali” capacity 300 thousand pairs of children shoes a year. To organization of the production have been directed $300 thousand. (Source: Uzdaily Agency)
