On May 30, 2013, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.A. Karimov has signed a Resolution “On creation of the digital television channel ‘Bolajon” for children under the close joint stock company “Tele-radio channel “Yoshlar” of the National Tele-radio company of Uzbekistan”.

Tele-channel “Bolajon” will start its broadcasting from June 1 of 2013, and will enter the social package of digital television channels of the republic, informs the National tele-radio channel of Uzbekistan.

The main tasks and activity directions of a new digital television channel “Bolajon”, designed for children at the age of 3 to 10, defined: - preparation and broadcasting the educational and intellectual developing television programmes, animations and films for children, directed to the formation of the child’s view of the world,nurturing the kindness and fair in his child understanding in the example of national heroes of the stories and characters of dastans, uzbek folktales and eposes of other world nations;

- Forming the cognitive, intellectual and creative activity , forming their initial skills, culture of mental and physical labor by showing the educational, entertaining and informative television programmes, intellectual games and quizzes designed for preschool and primary school age;

- Support the desire of children to understanding the world, discovering of new and interesting things around with use of modern interactive forms and methods of translation capabilities, possibilities of digital and multimedia technologies accounting the age appropriate specifics of young viewers

- Develop children’s interest to learn foreign languages through the training of special educational television programmes and TV broadcasting of foreign children art, animation, entertaining-cognitive films including subtitles in Uzbek;

- Forming children’s cognitive love of nature, respect of environment, teaching them skills of caring and keeping birds and animals, aquarium inhabitants as well as plants;

- Raising children’s basics of physical training and interest in sport; - Formation of children’s spirit of the competitiveness, respect to health, mastering the necessary sanitary.
