Criminal act took place in Andijan, head of the OSCE Centre in Tashkent Ambassador Miroslav Jenca said after visit to Andijan.

Local newspaper Pravda Vostoka interviewed Mr Jenca on his opinion on Andijan events. Mr Jenca expressed his gratitude Uzbek authorities, Foreign Ministry for organisation of the visit to the city.

Jenca said that the criminal elements participated in Andijan events and there were no demonstrations. He hoped that investigation would reveal organisers and felons would be punished.
