Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Africa to Uzbekistan with residence in Ankara (Turkey) Vika Mazwi Khumalo on 14 May 2013.

South African Ambassador handed over credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

At the meeting, the sides considered current state and priority directions of expanding bilateral relations. The sides highly rated interaction of two nations within the international organizations, especially within the UN and its structures.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged opinion on schedule and agenda of upcoming Uzbek-South African contacts at various levels.
