Forum of nongovernmental and non-commercial organisations opened in Tashkent region on 18 May, a local newspaper reported on Thursday, 19 May.

The forum entitled ?Perspectives of development of civil society in Uzbekistan? attracted heads of over 200 youth, women, humanitarian, human rights, medical and social NGOs.

The participants exchanged opinion on development of NGOs, main civic institutes and determine priority directions of formation of civil society, Pravda Vostoka reported.
