Commission discusses development of market infrastructure
Commission on development of market infrastructure and simplification of access to raw materials of the Commerce and Industry Chamber held its first session in Tashkent on 5 May.
Alisher Shayhov, chairman of Commerce and Industry Chamber, said that market infrastructure developed significantly in recent years. He called the commission to consider achieved with critical view and determine problems, which entrepreneurs face in accessing to raw materials, as well as develop recommendations to remove them.
He said that it is important that the commission took into account developments of other commissions of the chamber. He added that works of this commission will be considered by other commissions too.
Ahtam Daliev, head of department on support of entrepreneurship of the State Property Committee, said that there are some 5,700 organizations of market infrastructure.
Entrepreneurs can apply for financial funds to 32 commercial banks, 20 credit unions, off-budget funds of employment and farmers support, 98 leasing organizations and their branches and 229 insurance companies. Exchanges, exhibitions, fairs ensure access of businesses to raw materials.
Daliev noted the market infrastructure is not developed in the regions of Uzbekistan.
