Director of Executive Committee of the Regional anti-terrorist structure (RATS) of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Zhang Sinfen has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 8 January 2013.

Zhang Sinfen started his tenure as the Director of Executive Committee of the SCO RATS in line with the decision of the SCO Council of heads of states. He will work in this post for three years. At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on perspective directions of the SCO RATS activities.

The Regional anti-terrorist structure (RATS) is permanent acting agency of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In its activity it follows the documents and decisions, adopted within SCO and is designed for assisting, coordinating and interacting the competent agencies of SCO member countries on fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism.
