Uzbekistan in the eyes of children of the world
The fourth \"Joy of Tashkent\" International Children\'s Drawings Bienniale started in the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent.
Artists, and students and representatives of general public attended the opening ceremony of this international exhibition, jointly organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan Foundation, Ministries of foreign affairs, and public education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan A.Nuriddinov and others noted that under the leadership of President Islam Karimov a special attention is paid to artistic development in the process of raising the intellectual and creative potential of students. Many current projects, art exhibitions, art weeks in the country help to identify, support and encourage talented boys and girls.
The main objective of the “Joys of Tashkent\" International Bienniale, held since 2006, is to support children\'s creativity, creating opportunities to exhibit their talent. It contributes to the further enrichment of impressions and understanding of foreign students about life, national traditions of our people and ancient cities.
More than two thousand works of children from 30 countries, including the United States, Austria, Belgium, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Japan, South Korea, China, India , Singapore, Azerbaijan, Ukraine are exhibited along with the works of Young Uzbek artists. Their creative work covers many topics such as \"World of Childhood\", \"My Motherland\", \"The world in which I live,\" \"My Dream\", \"Uzbekistan through my eyes\".
Hassan Ziyadullaev is currently studying in the 5th grade of the Republican Specialized Boarding School of Arts in Tashkent. His drawings were awarded a special diploma in the international exhibition of children\'s drawings in Germany this year.
- I am taking part in the \"Joys of Tashkent\" Biennale with my drawings on \"My Beautiful Homeland\", \"Horses\", \"My Dream\" - said H.Ziyadullaev. - They depict nature, comfortable towns and villages of our country, the school in which I am studying. In this exhibition, I have met creative peers from Uzbekistan and abroad, got to know their dreams and ideas about our country.
