A new packaging system is introduced in the cotton industry Uzbekistan continues to modernize cotton plants, introduction of modern equipment and technology. Uzpakhtasanoat Association together with the specialists of JSC Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi has conducted a comprehensive search of work, testing and optimization of packaging materials of domestic and foreign production. This resulted in the positive test results of packaging materials manufacturing company Nantong Yufeng Plastic Packing Co. Ltd (PRC) and the completion of the technical and technological parameters for the localization of production in the country.

The results of the monitoring of the Uzbek government approved the establishment on the basis of the property of the reorganized Mustaqil Uzbekistonning 5 Yilligi Nomli Yangiyul Pakhta Tozalash Zavodi for the production of PET tape and plastic bulk containers, from Q1 2013.

JSC Mustaqil Uzbekistonning 5 Yilligi Nomli Yangiyul Pakhta Tozalash Zavodi will be attached to JSC Chinoz Pakhta Tozalash Zavodi keeping in the share capital of the last of the state share of at least 51%, and its transfer to the authorized capital of Tashkentpahtasanoat.

Uzprommashimpeks will sign a contract with Nantong Yufeng Plastic Packing Co., Ltd for supply of up to 2.3 million pieces of consumables - PET tape, plastic bulk containers and equipment for packing bales of cotton in excess of US$13.2m for ginneries provide packaging materials for November 2012 - January 2013.

The founders of the undertaking are the Association Uzpakhtasanoat, the territorial Joint-Stock Association Pakhtasanoat and Chinoz Pakhta Tozalash Zavodi. The sources of funding of an authorized capital of the enterprise as well as procurement of import supplies will by the own funds of the Association Uzpakhtasanoat, territorial equity associations of Pakhtasanoat.
